Can nature really create such intense color? She does. I think she has the heart of an artist. This work was done from life, and I still find myself marvelling at the intensity of the blues, seemingly made just for me. Is it Loch Ness? Or another ancient lake? If you can name it, let me know. Oil on canvas. One of my rare forays into oil paint. Storm tide is a little jewel of a painting, for a small corner of your home. Location? Somewhere off the coast of Southern California near La Jolla, on a winter’s day.
